I just returned from three hours of shopping -- not even very fun; the Penney's store was HOT, the outlet store had not accepted my $10 coupon (thus the trip to the regular store), Kohl's didn't have the pants I was looking for, and Meijer didn't have the cut of steak Audie wanted. However, I did find two pair of pants that fit at Penney's, and before checking out at Meijer (my last stop) I ran through the women's section and picked up about six shirts to try on at home. Audie decided it was okay to have meatball subs tonight (instead of the steak), and while I would have simply warmed up the frozen meatballs and put them on some bread, he is cooking them in the oven with onion and green pepper.

Earlier today, after watching Sunday Morning, Audie and I went to Home Depot together to pick out the paint color for our front door. That is how I ended up at Meijer--he needed more paint, and "If you get it at Meijer, you could pick up a steak for dinner". I am so happy to have the front door finally painted, but oh the fumes!!

So, tonight is Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters. Meantime, I have laundry to finish, boxes to clean out, and maybe even time for a nap.....
