Keeping In Touch, or KIT, was started after I read The Red Tent and decided to put more effort into the female relationships in my extended family. It began as a weekly e-mail which then morphed into this blog which is more or less my journal.

A good week
It was a good week all around. Work was satisfying--many people were on vacation so it was a week to reorganize, close up loose ends, and prepare for the fiscal year end next month. Sweet Adelines was satisfying--required focus and stamina--solidified some tunes and choreo. WICKED! Extremely satisfying entertainment, worth every penny. Live Scrabble twice this week (as opposed to the e-mail version)--once with Phillip, once with Becca (twice I won). Birthday Party! Tess turns two this week. The big party was yesterday at Aunt Becca's house. Good people, good cake, good fun with the tissue paper. I'll post pictures as soon as I get some. I read a good book (Unless by Carol Shields), and I watched a movie that I'm pretty sure was good, but I have no recall of it at this moment. Hmmm.
