Sometimes we don't get around to retrieving the mail for a few days. There's hardly ever anything too interesting. Mostly ads, maybe business mail that can wait until the weekend. Imagine my delight when Audie did bring the mail in on Friday, and among the pile of mostly paper that goes directly into the recycling bin, I had
three personal pieces!
One was a valentine from my sister. One was a valentine postcard from my aunt in Colorado. One was a postcard from my cousin in North Carolina.
Needless to say, if I'd been expecting these I would have been checking the mailbox each day. It was fun getting them all at once. And yes, it is nice to know that someone is thinking of you (me).
